Balatro blind survival calculator

Compare the chance of clearing a specified target under the supported exact model.

Can I clear the target before my hands run out?

Set the chips still needed, not the original blind target if you have already scored. An immediate play subtracts its score and consumes a hand. A discard consumes a discard without reducing the target. Terminal clearing plays stop before any replacement draw.

A last-hand boundary: 340 chips needed

There is one hand left, no discards, and no remaining draw cards. The five hearts score 340 chips and clear the 340-chip target now. A mathematical clearing value of 1 here means the specified immediate play meets the specified target; no future draw is assumed. Raising the target above 340 changes this conclusion.

Scores and clearing values answer different questions

A higher score can still have the same clearing value as a lower score if both already reach the target. See the pair versus flush tie. Future-blind planning, unmodeled boss effects and shop outcomes are outside this analysis.

Scope and trust

Supported model: 20 validated Jokers, 150 catalog names; exact analysis accepts 1–8 hand cards, 0–12 draw cards, 1–2 hands and 0–2 discards. Uniform replacement draws and optimal continuation are assumed. Unsupported boss, consumable, shop, history and scaling effects are rejected. No standalone sampled full-deck advice. Card order is optimized; Joker slot order is preserved.

Mathematical action values are conditional on the stated game model, not estimates of real-game success. Equal values are ties. Incomplete searches provide no completed recommendation. This independent tool is not affiliated with the game publisher.
